Sewing DIY Cottage Curtains
In this video, I'm sharing the process of sewing cute cottage curtains by hand. From measuring and cutting the fabric to sewing in the evenings while watching movies with my husband, the entire process is calming yet satisfying to watch! I'm so happy to read your comments on the video and see that many of you think the curtains turned out nicely—I love them too! They add rustic charm and cosiness to my kitchen.

Spring Lemon Muffins recipe
I also share a delicious recipe for lemon muffins—a staple dessert for Spring, with an uplifting taste of lemon matching the renewed energy of the new season.
Ingredients: 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour, 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ teaspoon salt, ⅔ cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, ¾ cup yogurt, ⅓ cup of oil, zest and juice of one lemon
Lemon drizzle: ½ cup of powdered sugar & lemon juice
Method: In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, lemon zest, sugar and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, yogurt, oil and lemon juice until combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Bake for 5 minutes at gas mark 7 (425°F /220°C), then reduce to gas mark 5 (375°F / 190°C) and bake for an additional 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice until it reaches a slightly loose consistency, then pour it over the muffins.

Early Spring in the English Countryside
March is such a beautiful month in the English countryside. The days are getting longer and warmer, and nature is springing to life, inspiring me to go out and spend time outdoors as much as possible! We visited an atmospheric church in Whitcombe, whose name has been forgotten and whose village was destroyed by a fire during the Black Death in the 14th century.
My husband and I also paid another visit to Barrington Court to see the daffodils in bloom—such a wonderful sight, with thousands of daffodils covering the grounds. It truly feels like spring is finally here!
