I’m only halfway through reading Slow Living for Modern Women. I’m 72 and rather unwell, and to be honest a lot of it doesn’t apply to me, but the general state of mind definitely does. I find it hard not being well enough to do everything I used to be able to do, so it’s nice to be reminded to enjoy life in the slow lane. Adriana has researched her subject very thoroughly, and I keep thinking, as I read, what a wise young woman she is.
