I recently purchased the “Summer in the Countryside Candle” and Rustic Milk Bottle Match Striker - absolutely beautiful! The fragrance of the candle just takes me away from all my worries and back to the countryside. I just had to go back and buy the wooden tray and two mugs to create a little country retreat of my own to help me try and relax while reading my Slow Living book. I'm beginning to think these candles are addictive! This is yet another beautiful scent.... strong but with a gentle, gorgeous fragrance.

I’m only halfway through reading Slow Living for Modern Women. I’m 72 and rather unwell, and to be honest a lot of it doesn’t apply to me, but the general state of mind definitely does. I find it hard not being well enough to do everything I used to be able to do, so it’s nice to be reminded to enjoy life in the slow lane. Adriana has researched her subject very thoroughly, and I keep thinking, as I read, what a wise young woman she is.

I am using this candle with my candle burner lamp. I have had many candles but I think Adriana's candles are the best scent wise that I've ever found. This magnolia and cherry candle is absolutely gorgeous with a strong clean smell of cherries.

Really delighted with my new wooden tray, matching coasters and English Countryside candle. The setup looks perfect on my dining table. The tray is sturdy and very well made. The displays you arrange within it can be changed seasonally but it will suit every style and always look lovely.
Love! The best book I’ve read on slow living
I love Adriana’s blog and her YouTube videos, so was very much looking forward to receiving her book. I haven’t had chance to read it yet (oh the irony!) but the quick flick through tells me that, when I do get chance to sit down and read it, I will no doubt enjoy it very much.
The book is very lovely, I plan to order three more for my daughter and two daughter-in-laws. I want them to discover slower living at a younger age than I.
This candle will be saved for the Autumn because of its amazing cosy smell. It’s so good!
