Cosy Cottage Kitchen: Creating a Warm, Rustic Heart of the Home
The kitchen has always been the focal point of every home I’ve known since childhood - my family home, my grandmother Marysia’s and now, my own. My husband and I cook all our meals from scratch and I also immensely enjoy baking.
Since I spend so much time in the kitchen, it’s no surprise I’ve grown so fond of it - and I love decorating it with the seasons. My readers and viewers know I always have a candle burning in the kitchen:) I truly believe it shifts the mindset from “I have to cook” to “I get to enjoy a cosy moment, cooking for my family and myself.”
Since moving to our new home in the countryside, I’ve been adding cosy, cottage-inspired touches to our modern kitchen - blending old and new with intention. Things like shabby chic jugs for utensils, sweet little acorn pots for storing bits and bobs, and a forest harvest display on the countertop help create that comforting, rustic feel I love so much.
I hope these photos will inspire you to add some cosy, rustic touches to your kitchen this Autumn too! – Adriana x
