[Exclusive Video] If You Need a Moment of Peace - An Enchanted Walk in Exmoor

Hello! We had a gorgeous first week of May here in the southwest corner of the English countryside. On one, particularly beautiful, sunny day, I persuaded my dear husband to go on a quest in search of a tiny, but picturesque bridge hidden in the royal forest of Exmoor that could belong in Hobbiton... and we failed :)

We wandered too far west (I think), so the bridge remains on my "to-visit" list, but what we found instead is no less picturesque - a beautiful trail in the forest along the same bubbling stream that flows under the bridge.

Truly, I am enchanted by Exmoor, especially by the streams and rivers flowing in the woods. On a Spring day, when the sun filters through young leaves, and the smell of moss, earth and blossom fills the air... It's breathtaking. I can fully understand where this English countryside idyll comes from.

If I am being honest with you, this is my most favourite way to spend time, and I am most interested in exploring such places. The wild, untouched, enchanted woods, valleys, and hills that hide medieval bridges, old cottages and churches full of local history and folklore. I want to encapsulate the feeling of these places in my videos, writing, and candles. We have many scents inspired by woods, including "Into the Woods", "Forest Rain", and "Bluebell Woods". They are a reflection of my love for the English countryside, and I'm so glad I can share it with you.

Join Andrei and me for a stroll through the enchanted Lorna Doone valley and a lunch in the sunshine. This video is exclusively for my subscribers and blog readers. I made it purely for your relaxation. No talking, just gentle music and nature sounds. Watch it now or come back to it on a day when you can't go out in nature yourself and spend 5 minutes resting with us.

I hope this vlog made you feel relaxed for the weekend ahead (or whenever you are watching). I loved making it because I could focus on what I actually wanted to show, not the algorithms (which is sometimes soul-crushing). Let me know if you enjoyed it. If you did, I'd love to follow up with the video of our visit to the little, bit rich in history bridge we were meant to find :)
