Cosy and Nutritious Banana Oatmeal Cookies Recipe for Slow Living

As a lover of both cosy comforts and healthy treats, I'm always on the lookout for recipes that balance indulgence and wellness. Today, as I bask in the soft glow of my "Hygge" candle, I want to share with you my go-to recipe for 4-ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies. These little delights are not only incredibly simple to make but also packed with wholesome ingredients that will leave you feeling satisfied and nourished.

Healthy 4-Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies Ingredients:

- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- Chocolate chips (as desired)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to Gas Mark 5 (375F / 195C) . Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, peel and mash the ripe banana until smooth.

3. Add the rolled oats and peanut butter to the mashed banana. Stir until well combined

4. If desired, gently fold in a handful of dark chocolate chips.

6. Using a spoon or your hands, scoop out portions of the dough and shape them into small rounds. Place each cookie onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.

7. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers. 

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges.

9. Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
