Slow Living in February: Embracing the In-Between Time of Winter and Spring
Slow Living in February means embracing the in-between time between Winter and Spring. I am looking forward to the change of seasons here in the English Countryside and am always on the lookout for the first flowers and hints of the coming Spring.
In this video, I'm taking you to beautiful Montacute House in Somerset, which has planted thousands of snowdrops and daffodils that are now in bloom.
I'm also pruning my David Austin roses for the first time. A little bit of sunshine and working in the garden inspired me to make a carrot cake - find the recipe below.
I also take a nature walk in the Wintry forest, but the soft winter sunshine makes me feel like Spring is well on its way. There’s something peaceful about this seasonal transition, reminding me to slow down and pay attention the little changes in nature.
Join me for a moment of slow living, seasonal living and simple joys!
